Assignment #3
Blogging, personal/classroom webpage/wikipage, prezi, podcast and interactive internet applications/resources/websites can be used every day in school. The blogging can be used to get the students input on certain things that happened in class that day or even some assignments. Prezi can be used for the kids find a unique way of doing something like a powerpoint for a project over a composer or an era of music that they are assigned. The personal webpage can be used for lesson plans that they will have to look up to understand what happened in class in case they have questions or anything like that. Great choices---think about how these technologies can be used for student guided learning. Rather than just an engaging way to learn information, how can these technologies be used to foster self-driven learning? Look to my previous post about higher levels of thinking and about your job as a guide during their educational journey rather than just spoon-feeding your students concrete information.
